### Engineering notes

SCLN needed a **trust-first** marketing site for a tax and fiscal law practice: multi-page IA, **clear service positioning**, and a **news / insights** area the firm could update without touching React builds. **Hugo** gave fast static output and predictable hosting; **Tailwind** implemented the supplied **Figma** kit with responsive breakpoints across practice areas and regional landing patterns.

We used **AOS** (Animate On Scroll) **lightly** so that motion supports hierarchy without fighting readability or Core Web Vitals. Content stays in **markdown** with shared partials for attorneys, office routes, and CTAs—reducing duplicate HTML when the client adds announcements or regulatory updates.

#### Outcome

A maintainable, editor-friendly static property that separates **evergreen practice pages** from **time-sensitive news**, loads quickly, and stays easy to extend as the firm grows content.
